IELTS Mock Test by LWH

I was out the whole day yesterday. Ken & I first went to IDP to register for IELTS and then we had lunch in Sunshine Farlim. Hah I wanted to see Ken have his hair cut but stud Ken didnt want to go cut his hair. Persuading + Blackmailing failed. Grr. & then we went back to his place for the IELTS mock test he prepared for me =O

He said he had surprises for me & wow, i was soo impressed with what he did. I was warned by him not to post them up but I may be tempted.... HAHAHA. His mock test was really like the real test. He printed me an exam slip, photostated answer sheets, prepared writing booklets, & even prepared the question for the speaking component! (Da jie ah, I think it was more worth it than you RM300 tuition LOL) Hahahaha, and I kept laughing because I thought he was really crazy to put together everything like that. We went to buy a reference book which came with an audio CD the other day so we did the listening test together in the living room, which felt exactly like the exam hall. =O

And you know, it was after lunch, & sitting in the air-conditioned room, I naturally felt very very sleepy throughout the 30 minutes listening test. And after that I went to the Sofa & slept. HAHA while Ken was marking my paper. And I didnt want to get up after that. =O So Ken also went to lie down on the sofa. And then his mummy came and laughed. We had just started for merely 30 mins & then we were nua-ing already. Lost all my discipline after the exam. Gasp.

So anyway after coconut juice & pringles we started the reading test. And I felt sleepy again. LOL. Afternoons are the worst time for me. Even at home at times like that i would just sleep on my study table. And i didnt like the reading paper! I hate the fact that i need to read the texts in detail to answer the Questions. And i never liked True/False/Not Given questions........... Sob. But anyway, the sofa was so inviting so i quickly finished my paper & again went to sleep while Ken marked mine & finished his. =D And then i was rudely awakened by the shutter sound of a camera. Stud Ken. Grr.

Next up was writing test. LAZYYYY so i skipped that & Ken gave me 0 for that component. Boo. That explains my average band score of 4.5 for yesterday's mock test. HAH. UP next was Ken's favourite. Speaking. I simply answered him & got 2.5 only HAHA stud lee wen han. It was so unfair because he could test me but he didnt want to let me test him! Boooo. So after concluding that i got an ave score of 4.5, we lazed around reading some sample essays.

Movie time after all that hard work! HAHAHA hard work? =O

Halfway through the movie we went out for dinner. We wanted to go for jap food but the shop was closed so we settled for US pizza instead. Went back, finished the movie & went home. Hahaha soooo tired from laughing so much.

Sorry LWH! Too tempted HAHAHA. 你的考卷太美了！ I post one only okayyyy, the rest i will show Dajie when she comes back. =D

P.S: He didnt want me to bring back the papers but when he wasnt noticing i put them all into my bag HAHA & when he knew it i was already gone. I can be so sly hiak hiak.

This has been taking up my time for the whole afternoon. Found it stashed somewhere in the cupboard yesterday. Bought for Tian around 5 years ago but then she abandoned it.

Hahahaha stud qi braided them & i dono why i find it so funny HAHAHA. especially the fat pink one.

spent around 5 hours and only fnished the HAIR. stud. back ache. & very very tired. stud i think i'll abandon it. LOL. bye going out for dinner.

Kai Kaiz

K just sent me home. We went to ask about our ielts test in IDP. & i completely made a fool out of myself. Arghhhh! We went inside the office & K said "Ielts" & then the woman asked for our ICs. & we were like omg, why does she need out ICs? HAHA it turned out that she thought we came to collect our results. After the slight misunderstanding she asked us to take a seat while she went to get the brochures. She pronounced okay as 'ekei' & i started to giggle.

& the disastrous thing is... once i start laughing... there's no way back.

i was already in my "laughing mood" and K kept smiling. so it's like 火上加油. & then the woman said something super funny & i just... LAUGHED. & stud K was giggling beside. it was sooooo embarrasing i tell you!! that woman must have thought that i was crazy! i tried really hard not to laugh but then stud K was also stiffling his laughter and it made me feel like laughing even more aaaaa. so we quickly told the woman we would consider the several dates for exams & dashed out of the office.

& laughed. HAHAHAHA.

& then the security guard came because he heard the "commotion" and thought that something had happened. oops. so after all that i was feeling a little bad for laughing. what's more stud K who laughed himself was actually lecturing me for laughing at that poor woman.

anyway we went to gurney after that to look for ielts reference books. went to stud popular & there were only a few books. & they were so overpriced! we then went to mph & there were so many more books compared to popular. & tada! we found the same book plus cd for RM25 less. it was like the doors to heaven had opened or something & i could hear angels singing =O we looked through a few other books but at last settle for that one. HAHA we're going to have our own listening tests.

then we happily left gurney with our purchase. & now the million dollar question: where to eat? aaaah i tell you, both K & i are always indecisive in the sense that we could never decide on where to eat. we would always say "cincai" & come to no conclusion. zzzz. but anyway in the end i suggested NWP. & stud K laughed because he said that i've always wanted to go back to Mizi in NWP for the mushroom soup. i DONT KNOW why he always laughs at me! anything i do he will pick on me & laugh. GRR.

& then we went home.

& we saw this CAR (pun intended) & laughed. K said: 怕人家不知道是车. hahahah & i said that the number should be 1038. sampat. get it? HAHA. byez!

One Month Ago

Wow time flies. This was one month ago. I was too lazy/busy to update before. But now im too free. Zzz. Went to Sunway Convention Centre with family, ken & bea.

our table. i remembered that dinner started late & i kept saying "我很饿" but then i didnt eat much. i think i took more pictures. hahahahah, & with bea there there will be always pictures to take. hiak hiak.

wanted to drink wine for fun and didnt know it tasted so sour so in the end, we left it on the table when no one was looking HAHA.

so the wine was for picture purposes only (oops)

err.... wen han asked me to pose like that. HAHA. i cant sing.

oh yeah and we got door gifts when we arrived. i was so unlucky and got a faulty calculator, wen han got a cute water tumbler, brothers got this laptop brush which was later used by us as make-up brush (see brush in the above pic), bea was the luckiest because she got one big nestle goodie bag! but then later i asked dad to get one for ken & one for me. =D

The FUNNIEST thing of the night was this:

ken was called to go on stage HAHA. before that i told him that every year there would be something like that, so he wanted to go out of the hall to prevent being called, but then i wanted to be inside because i wanted to see who would be the victim. & then ken became the victim. gasp. when the host was like finding people to go on stage i was like omgomg plspls and pretended to look elsewhere but then when he said "that brother over there", and i saw my sister & brothers looking at ken's direction..... HAHAHA. I cannot post more pictures because later ken would come kill me. =O

I actually have a phobia for balloons. I'm always scared to see little children playing with balloons because i'm very afraid they would burst! I remember i used to attend birthday parties and people would play the balloon thingy. You know? Tie a balloon on your leg and try to step & burst other people's balloon? That was and still is the game i dread the most. =(

We were on stage after the function ended, & ken saw microphones by the stage. We wanted to borrow for picture purposes again lolzzz but then we didnt get them in the end because they were locked in their cases already. It would be so nice if we got them, with the stage and everything HAHA.

Crazy Things We've Done

BOO

Hello! Exam's over! I went to Qbay & walked aimlessly with Ys for hours. My feet feels painful. But i think it's worse for Ys. Haha so back to blogging since i'm so free now. Haha, the picture above is like an introduction to my post. I've done so so many crazy things this year that i've lost count of them. And i'm amazed by my own ability to do all these stuff HAHA.

1. Bringing pillows to class

HAHA it was Malaysian Studies. And our class was in the Lecture Theatre. So we went to my car and took the car pillows, & stuffed them into my bag. I remember Ys actually held a mini bolster in his hand. & people were staring. =O During class, Ken thought he was some kind of juggler or clown and threw the pillow up into the air and caught it by hand. I remember i was like omgomg please, i hoped that the teacher would not see. I asked Ken to stop but of course he didnt listen! In fact he threw it into the air more times than before.

2. Plucking Rambutans

Hahaha see the trees? Those are Rambutan trees. And one day we parked there after lunch and i forgot whether it was Ken or Ys who jumped up and plucked a rambutan. And then in class we put the rambutan on someone's seat. Gasp. And then before Chemistry Class on that day, i went to the toilet. When i came back and open my pencil box i was so shocked to see the hairy rambutan in my pencil box. Aaaah stud boys. I forgot what happened to the Rambutan after that hah.

3. Annoyed the parking attendant

We go to Hidden Recipe for lunch quite often. And we super hate the parking attendant there!! Sour face ah pek. Grrr. Ken & Ys super super hate that guy because he always pretends to ask for more money and then when they point it out to him he will go "oh oh yeahh" like that! I wasn't there when that happened the first time and after various story telling sessions i also developed a bad impression of that uncle. So i remember i was driving one wednesday, and we ate very very fast because we didnt want to get past half and hour and pay RM1 for the parking. And since my car has lots and lots of coins, i picked 10 5-cents coins to pay for the RM0.50 parking fee.

I opened my window and let all the coins fall into his palms. And quickly closed the window before all of us bursted into laughter. We laughed real real loud and i think he heard it. When we went to that place for lunch the next time, we were in Ken's car, and then we also compounded all 5 cents coins for the uncle. ANDDDDD this was the time the uncle "pretended" to count wrongly again! And then Ken was like, HARRR MM SI JI KO NIAH AH. and i was like OMG HAHAHA trying not to laugh. Then that uncle went "ohohoh". Not being able to get more money from us, i bet he wasnt feeling very happy and when we gave him all the 5 cent coins he went: "next time dont gimme all 5 cent coins. I dont accept 5 cent coins bla bla" in hokkien of course but i dono how to translate. lolzzz. So since he did not want 5 cent coins, the next time, we gave him 5 10-cent coins. HAHAHA sui or not!

Ken is always like that! Sometimes he parks his car very close to the other car so i cannot come out / need to cram like siao to come out.

5. Take creative pictures!

Haha wow, it was Ken's idea. We came back from lunch early and went to an empty room. We always pretend to be lecturers inside. (Or pretend to be Lee Hom or some other celebreties for Ys's case. He would ALWAYS go: 马来西亚的朋友们！大家好！and ken & i would cringe.) And we always pull the LCD screen down, hold the string thingy and pretend that we are flying kites. HAHA.

6. Modelling (Gasp)
Back To School!! But aiyah, college had ended already. And now that exams are over I would rarely go back to Inti. At least not before going back to get my results/cert. Gasp just realised december is not so far away.

7. Karaoke session / Singing Competition

HAHA we are crazy people who stayed back after class just to do things like that. We wanted to go to the rooftop at first but then there were other people there. But then we went into an empty room, on the air con (oops), & fooled around like that. and CAN YOU SPOT THE TROPHY hahahahaha it was Ken's std something trophy for QUIZ BAHASA MELAYU or something like that. HAH.

Err, i'm a bit speechless after looking at this picture. I Cant Believe We Did That. prize giving ceremony somemore HAHA gasp. and see that yellow thing on my shirt, you cant see what it says but it is actually reads: contestant no.1. HAHA. prepared by Ken :3

8. Took Pics of Ken, hoping that he wouldnt notice, and in the end everyone in that class noticed. ZZZZ.

Ys & I were bored when Ken went for his econs class so we did this. We didnt know that everyone could see us from inside. Zzz. We hid behind the door and raised our hand to the small window on the door, and then later one of the students said that he saw a camera emerging from below. Aaaaa, i was so embarassed then.

9. Asked CK to join us for Sumitra

I remembered we brought alot of food that day, and we were having a picnic in class.

And then Ken took this if im not mistaken. Or did i take it? But i remember we laughed over it.

10. ERRRRRRRRR.... what do you call this...

Ken loves this pic so much lol look at Ys's facial expression. HAHAHA.

I posted these up not long ago. Haha, these pics made us laugh so much that day. Ken & Ys suggested this. And i was so terrified when Ys climbed onto the table. When I was posing, I could see that one boy was looking at us from another table. I didnt even dare to look back because i was sure that he was looking at us in disbelief.

11. Pretending to be lecturers
Ok this is really Ken's favourite. He would always claim that he's a lecturer! and that he has the KEYS to the lecturer's reference room (See above pic). And he loves to mark people's books! He contengs my books/papers too, and really you should see how he marks. Really teacher/lecturer-styled. *impressed.

Sigh, the list goes on and on! Sooooo many things in this one year. And i had fun. So so much fun =)

So yeah, esl is over. pheww. im so sleepy now. i cant study. cant do maths also. zzz yawn. byez. proper updates after exam. zzz.
