KKB Posting

I'm in the airport now. Waiting for my flight back to Penang. And yummy yummy, I'm having my dinner at Starbucks. Hehe had to give myself a simple treat after 4 days and 3 nights of posting in Hospital Kuala Kubu Bahru.

I actually kinda dreaded this posting, because the place is like in a rural area, and we were assigned to stay in the nurse hostel. And I've heard stories about how the place is not very clean, and how we had to bathe with ice cold water. Haha I know I know, I sound so pampered right?

But you know what? I LOVED the posting! Although the place was like a bit dirty + I shivered so badly in the shower in the mornings + sweated and melted clerking patients in my labcoat (and also poor Janice fell sick), I really enjoyed myself interacting with the patients. I've realized all these postings I attend inspire me so much and they further fuel my passion working as a doctor in future.

And not to forget making new awesome friends! 9 of us girls were in a room. It was a rather 'exotic' combination of people, because we usually don't hang out as a group in Uni. We had our meals together every day, and talked talked and talked! Hehe loved the late night talks! So this posting really gave all of us a chance to know each other better and I'm truly happy to know them.

Okie I better stop rambling so much. I'm really very tired and I look forward to sleeping in my cosy room tonight. Hehe better get back to eating my muffin and drinking my chocolate frappucino! (no caffeine as I made the mistake of drinking Starbucks coffee at 10pm 2 weeks ago and ended up staying up all night hahaha)
